- trans women are women. trans men are men. nonbinary people are nonbinary (yes, that’s a real thing. no i do not need to interrogate anyone for their gender)
- no you will not convince me otherwise, please kindly fuck off if that’s why you’re following me
- material reality impacts our existence and it’s stupid to pretend otherwise
- as longtime followers can avow, i have actually not really drastically changed my feminist stances since probably like idk 2010 or whatever, and, in fact, i have mellowed a lot on how much i hate men as a class! i’m actually influenced by major feminist writers! i read a lot!
- if you think you know more about lgbt history and culture than me and you do not have a PhD in the subject, you are almost definitely wrong, but thanks for playing <3
- this is not like a “politics” blog or a “feminist” blog or an “lgbt” blog it’s just like. the ever-changing cycle of my adhd brain. please do not be surprised when i launch full tilt back into like succession or mad men posting. because i will eventually.
- abortion rights are women’s rights and women’s rights are human rights - but also abortion and transition both go hand in hand in terms of bodily autonomy (and neither are comparable to whatever antivaxxers are saying fuck off)
- i literally wrote a 20 page paper in german on comparative legal rights of women through a feminist lens between east and west germany from 1949-90, and that was like, 2016 I think, so none of this is new. I also gave 20 minute talks on Clara Zetkin and Bertha Pappenheim, again, in German, for fun :)
- i’ve had to delete about a half dozen TERF anons in the past 48 hours can y'all get a fucking life please? some of y'all insist you’re married, so like, go fuck your wives or something idk.
- also if you think I’m a TERF you might just be stupid. (i am not a TERF. I have never been a TERF. I have no interest in listening to or humoring TERFs)
- trust me, as someone who has blocked about a hundred in the past week, they are very blatant about it, and don’t pretend to support trans rights. their foremost belief is transmisogyny, not the need for women as a whole to form class consciousness to fight patriarchal oppression. if you don’t know that, like, i’m glad you’ve never had to interact with a TERF?
- i do not research the OP or anyone on a post I reblog. sometimes i reblog it because it’s funny. sometimes i reblog it because it’s pretty. you are not entitled to know why I reblog anything I reblog, nor am I ever going to research OPs of posts because I have a life.
- shinigamieyes is a shitty extension and any freeware used to mark Bad People is going to be coopted by bad faith actors. block lists have the same issue.
